Revival Sketch

Hello again, everyone!
Coffee Ougi is not dead! :D Since I just rediscovered my love for the Sengoku characters (blame the Basara anime and perios :P) I'm currently highly motivated to do some fanart.

Thus, I bring you a simple sketch. Nothing exciting, just a few headshots. I wanted to try drawing the characters' faces to see if I'm better at capturing their individual features than a year ago.

Well, I don't really like Yuki and Kane on the right side, because I made their faces too big in comparison to their heads. And Kane just doesn't look like Kane. But I'll try again soon, I promise.
I do like Sakon and Mitsunari, though.

I'm currently thinking about a colored piece, but I'm not sure which to do (first?).
There's an older idea with Sakon, Mitsunari and a horse in a rather simple composition. Then I really want to do a drawing of Kane and Yuki. And I have another picture in my mind which contains all of these, but it would probably be too much for me to handle at the moment. Hard decision, if you ask me. XD

Anyway, I hope you'll hear from me soon with at least some headshots like these. =)

Keiji-Yuki-art

Hello~! :D

I made a little ACEO/KAKAO-card with Keiji and Yuki. Well, actually it's a maxi card. I spent the last three days or so on it, so I hope you'll like it.

This is the piece:

I imagagined them in an after-battle-situation, Keiji being like "Well done, Yukimura! Let's have one on our victory!", while Yukimura kind of isn't quite this energetic anymore: "......................................... //..... feel so... drained... can't... any longer.....uh... so dizzy....//". He'll most like fall asleep on the spot in the next three seconds... maybe. But fear not, Yukimura! I'm sure Keiji will carry you home safely.

Now let's hope perios will update the blog soon as well! *poke poke* ^_^ I don't know about you, but I really miss her sengoku art... It's been quite a while, isn't it?

Time for another update!

It's been a while since November and half of the the stuff I have to share is a little older. But see for yourself. ^^

This is an original character I created for our epic RPG. He and his companion try to molest Mitsunari...
The sketch is from August 2007.

Chisako here is perios' OC and is a part of the same RPG. She's a prostitute. And madly in love with Keiji.
I uploaded this on dA and Animexx already, so it's not really new i think.

Now on to the real sengoku-chars!

First, our beloved Tono and his Sakon. Mitsunari looks so pissed... as always.

And some Kaneyuki-(not-yet-)smut.
Just what's Yuki thinking, posing like that? I guess... maybe he doesn't think at all, posing like that. Poor Kanetsugu.

yukimura art, doujinshi teaser, crack

hello, time for a little update! :D

so, i have some sketches, a small yukimura- artwork AND finally!! doujinshi teaser to offer.
the doujinshi is a short collab of about 6 pages between perios and me. hopefully i won't take too long to finish the pages. cheer me on, i'm counting on you!

YUKIMURA! i can't help but love him... the pic was done to cheer me up, because i was feeling down (thanks to a failed commission by my sis...). it succeeded. greatly. ^^

a little crack by both perios and me, done while she was visiting me a while ago. somehow i can't remember why we startet drawing them as mons >_>; but it's fun, really! we still didn't really decide for a proper kanemon though, that's still to come.

what would happen if kanetsugu were to be confronted with a.. yukimon? would he be able to understand what it says? would he be able to recognize yukimura in it...? will yukimura ever be able to return to his normal human form...? how did he get that way in the first place? and also... are mitsunari and sakon okay?

i don't know if this will ever be continued... XD but it'd be surely a lot of fun...

what i have to offer this time is a sketch and! ....yes, actually finished art.

sakon and a japanese crane (grus japonensis). this pic is a (not quite equal) response to perios' dragonfly .
sorry for the bad scanning quality, my scanner is broken of some sort...

Hey folks! Update! Sometime ago I finished the coloured version of the doujinshi cover...
as far as I can think, it must be rotting here for some weeks already now o_o

anyway, here it is!
(as well as one junk)

It's not like what I wanted it to be ;_______; Not so satisfying result, though it took me so long! I could cry, really, I know the hand is too big, I should have changed it....now it disturbs me very much....damn damn damn. Damn watercolours. Can't use them properly....must practise more.

Actually, this is one of the first pics I did of the two...so it's kinda..old. from may? june? I dunno ... something like that ne.

I promise, next time will be better...............................*epic fail*

Dun Dun Dun! It's Coffee扇 time again!

I wanted to update stuff here much more earlier, but the struggles of real life kept me from it!
But finally, back on track again.

I come not empty-handed, but with some sketches, wips and one photo as a proof of my crafting abilities... xD !

As well as one Junk.

We start with this one here:

This will be the new cover for my doujinshi (if I ever manage to get more than one page done xD). I dunno, but always, when I think of those two, I tend to think that it would be especially hot when they do it in the open wide nature...just the sky, the smell of nature and those two and their passion. YES! I named this one "午後とんぼ" (lit. afternoondragonfly) because I thought of a late afternoon sky, firey red... I'm currently inking this one. Only Sakon to go, yeah, and some grass. Think I'm gonna handle this soon (but I have some other important jobs to handle, still). Inking this grass is....um..tiresome.

NOW THAT ONE IS A REAL BLAST XD It's actually a collab between Elektroyu and me. She did our sweeties Kane and Yuki, and I did a rather awkward job on Sakon (with his hair untied !) and Mitsunari... The inking is from me, and actually what you see in the preview is the wip of the coloured version....which is to come soon. I hope....the background is still missing I will have to fix it....
But, Yu, your Kaneyuki is awesome ;___________________; ! AN HONOUR (!!!!) to work with you!

We all know the wonderful Kanji-Combi ~~Kanetsugu drew on~~ (INSIDER ALERT xD) which is on Mitsunari's Back...
Since I have too much time left...I decided to get a badge done with this Kanji °__°;;
I first drew the Kanji in real big, added the BG in Photoshop and whohoohoo done. Here is it, the Daichidaimandaikichi Badge:

I bet, If I had lived back then, I would have been Mitsunari's Marketing Manager!
Sorry for the strange light o_o had a hard time taking a photo of such a tiny thing...

Last but not least, Sakon-Junk....

hello everyone! *_* this is ~~sakon~~ elektroyu.
well, i'm not good with words, but i'm really, really proud and happy to be a member of this wonderful circle, and i hope it will thrive and prosper. and, of course, spread the love!

i would've liked to share something as awesome as perios did, but currently i'm a little busy with life, so i just have a few sketches to share.

Hello Guys, this ~~is Tono~~...erm [|CS|] speaking !
I have the unbelievable honour to make the first post to this wonderful journal *_*;;

Which is, as you may have all noticed, a joint journal between elektro_yu and perios

For all our wonderful Sengoku Musou 2 fangirl madness! And of course, a lot of art, doujinshi and.....our smexy Sengoku boys!
It will be mainly Samitsu and Kaneyuki, but stay tuned for other stuffz as well.... !!!

And of course, what would be an openingpost in a doujinshi circle without any art?

I drew this yesterday night...

I also made a cover sketch yesterday, containing a dragonfly ... and I thought it was fun, so I decided to try another one xD And coz it looked so lonely, I added Mitsunari as well xD
It was also a good chance to practise watercolour a bit again...

I somehow think a dragonfly matches Mitsunari...in prettiness of course! I cannot understand why people think of dragonflies as symbols of evil...only because they thought they sting (which they don't, at least I think)... Poor dragonfly-tachi ;_; !!
Anyway ! I like them xD Even if it means I like something symbolical evil *rofl*

And, btw.... I think the german word "Libelle" is like 1000x times prettier than "dragonfly" !
